Original math tutorial videos hosted on YouTube

My name is Eric McDowell, and I am the voice and creator of theMathSinger. I retired as a professor of Mathematics at Berry College (near Rome, Georgia) in 2022 so that my wife and I could move to Massachusetts to live near our young granddaughter and her family. Mine was a young retirement (at 57) and I felt an urge to continue to teach, but without the drudgery of committee work and grading. MathSinger.com is the realization of that desire.

I have been writing and recording songs about Mathematics since 2009, and teams of Berry students helped me to turn some of those songs into clever music videos. During the pandemic, I learned (out of necessity) how to produce video tutorials on my own.  All of these Berry career videos are included on this site; however, I do hope that you'll forgive the quality and format of the early tutorials. We all have to start somewhere.
